Recurring gusts of wind provided the perfect energy for this shoot, making my favorite (and recycled) scarf dance against a rocky railroad backdrop. Who knew a vintage maxi skirt (the pattern caught my eye) could also double as an oversized scarf?? I simply cut the waistband off, then cut up vertically to create a long strip - leave the raw edge for an unfinished look.

Lace-up ballet flats are always a good choice, and loads of accessories are necessary (of course). I played off the greens and tawny browns of the scarf, complimenting with bohemian bangles, bright abalone and rosary chain.
