Sometimes, I literally sit there and piece beads together without a certain plan. This necklace illustrates one of those beading sessions - I knew I wanted to incorporate a modified right angle weave (one of my favorite easy beading patterns) and decorate with dripping crystals.
Inspired by the bohemian vibes of a peacock feather, I combined amethyst, gold and even hints of blue to create a well-balanced and sophisticated palette. I created beaded rays out of headpins, meant to radiate out from the inner strand. Finishing off with a filigree focal pendant creates a piece worthy of any special occasion!
